She often works with the head and neck multidisciplinary team and works closely with the maxillofacial and ENT services in order to provide multidisciplinary care to patients. St Georges is a major trauma centre she often deals with trauma patients and provides follow-up reconstructive care.

After completing her general ophthalmology training Miss Osborne undertook sub-speciality oculoplastic training at Manchester Eye Hospital, spent a year in New Zealand as an oculoplastic and lacrimal fellow and a further year as an oculoplastic, lacrimal and orbital fellow at Moorfields Eye Hospital.

Miss Osborne specialises in lid surgery such as entropion, ectropion, ptosis surgery, blepharoplasty and minor surgery such as benign eyelid lumps and chalazions. She undertakes eyelid cancer excision and reconstruction and works closely with Mohs surgeons. She manages watery eyes including tear duct bypass surgery (dacryocystorhinostomy). She specialises in the management of thyroid eye disease, in addition she manages patients with artificial eyes and those needing eye removal. She deals with blepharitis, dry eye, ingrowing lashes and punctal plugs.

She is also a member of the face surgeons a group who work individually and in a multidisciplinary team to provide best patient care privately.

She regularly teaches and has presented internationally and has a number of publications in peer reviewed journals. She enjoys keeping up to date by regularly attending conferences and courses.
