About me

I am a Senior Accredited Counsellor with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Register of Counsellors & Psychotherapists
In February 2013 BACP became one of the first two organisations to hold an accredited register.
Accreditation means that the BACP Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (formerly known as UKRCP) meets the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care high standards in governance, standard-setting, education and training, management, complaints and information.

Qualifications
Diploma in Professional Studies (Humanistic Person-Centred Counselling) 1996; Diploma in Counselling (Humanistic Person-Centred), (B.A.C.P. Accredited) 1996; Diploma in the Certificate in Psychodynamic Counselling Skills, Writtle Pastoral Foundation. 1992. Theory & Practice of Supervision, 2008.

Code of Ethics
I adhere to the Code of Ethics of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Areas of interest

I offer Individual therapy to Adults and Adolescents (aged 16 and upwards);
I work with various issues, including Anxiety; Abuse; Bereavement; Depression; Bereavement and Loss; Phobias; Self Esteem; Stress.
