Joyti Saksena keeps up to date by attending national and international scientific meetings. He undertook a traveling surgeon visit to the USA to visit surgeons who specialise in conservative hip and custom knee replacement techniques.  He has adopted 3D Computer aided planing in to his practise and patient specific implants.

He is a faculty member on several orthopaedic courses and is an author reviewer for a number of prestigious journals. He is a member of the British Orthopaedic association, the British Hip society, the American academy of orthopaedic surgeons and the AO alumni.
