Khalid Drabu has extensive experience in lower limb joint replacement surgery. He has been invited to lecture and demonstrate surgical techniques internationally presenting his extensive work and exemplary results with over 20 years of Consultant experience. He has personally undertaken over 12,000 joint replacments of the hip and the knee. He is a member of The British Orthopaedic Association and a member of The British Hip Society.

Khalid Drabu has been a Consultant in Trauma and Orthopedics at Surrey & Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust since 1988.
Khalid has been asked to present his work in hip and knee surgery with a major interest in complex revision hip surgery at international and national meetings.
Khalid has lead a team of medical volunteers to disaster areas such as, Pakistan following a major earthquake in 2006 where the team perfomed emergency medical work dealing with multiply injured survivors from this catastrophe.
When he is not working, Khalid enjoys good food and wine, socialising with family and friends and is an enthusiastic gardener.
Courses offered to GPs
Khalid is invited to give lectures regularly to General Practioners, Physiotherapists, Osteopaths and Chiropractors.
Mr Drabu will provide details of outcomes for the procedures he undertakes to individual patients on request.
