Research interests
Prof Bennett has a keen interest in research as well as clinical aspects of Rheumatology and Sports Medicine. He is an Honorary Principal Research Fellow at Imperial College, London, and has published widely in Rheumatology, and in Sports and Exercise Medicine. He has lectured on many occasions at national, European and American Rheumatology and Sports Medicine meetings. He has many ongoing active research studies.
Personal interests
Prof Bennett's particular clinical interests are inflammatory arthritis including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis/spondyloarthritis, back pain, osteoporosis, gout and sports and exercise medicine.
Awards received
Winner 2008 BSR Young Investigators Award
Winner Defence Rehabilitation Academic Award 2008 and 2011.
Supervisor of the 2010 Defence Rehabilitation research conference prize.
