About me

Dr Bazari is a Consultant Respiratory and Internal Physician offering consultations and opinions for patients covering a wide range of respiratory and internal medical problems. Areas of expertise include diagnosis and management of cough, shortness of breath, abnormal chest x-rays requiring investigations, diagnosis and management of sleep disorders, lung infections and lung cancer.

Dr Bazari has been a full time NHS consultant at Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust since 2009. He leads the respiratory department for the lung cancer service, chronic airways disease, and on risk and clinical governance.

Dr Bazari has an intimate knowledge of the local healthcare setting having undergone specialist training on the London Deanery and working in a number of London Hospitals. Specialist respiratory training was underpinned at the Royal Brompton Hospital, a world renowned centre for respiratory disease, leading to his areas of expertise include the diagnosis and management of cough, airways disease, sleep disordered breathing, unexplained shortness of breath, and investigation of abnormal chest x-rays.

By working within a close and effective multi-disciplinary team, all patients are managed promptly, with care and dignity and appropriately for their condition.

Areas of interest

As a respiratory Physician with a wide ranging practice, I have expertise and clinical experience in the following areas:

Diagnosis and management of asthma; smoking related lung disease; diagnosis and management of unexplained cough; sleep apnoea, related sleep disorders and unexplained fatigue; lung cancer- diagnosis and management; unexplained shortness of breath; lung infections; bronchiectasis and lung fibrosis.

Expertise in investigation of abnormal chest x-rays.

I also practice general internal medicine and offer consultations in the full breadth of general medical complaints.
