Mr Andrew Ballaro has been a full time NHS Consultant Urologist for over ten years and is highly experienced in the management of all urological problems.
He has a major interest in the management of kidney stones and prostate problems and performs the most minimally invasive procedures available for kidney stone removal, consistently publishing some of the best surgical outcomes in the country. He also offers a range of treatments for benign prostatic enlargement disease including Holmium Laser Prostatectomy (HoLEP) and REZUM steam therapy.
Mr Ballaro teaches London deanery trainee urologists at all levels and has published widely in the fields of minimally invasive urological surgery. He was awarded a Hunterian professorship from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2004, and is co-author of the latest edition of the standard medical student textbook ‘Lecture Notes in Urology’.
