About me

I am a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with 14 years experience working in the NHS and 5 years as The Head of Adult Psychology for a large Inpatient Mental Health Hospital.

I've received additional training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Schema Therapy, Compassionate Mind Therapy, and completed intensive training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.

My specialist area is ACT and I provide clinical training on this to The University of Manchester Clinical Psychology Doctorate and also to clinical teams nationally.

I tailor my approach flexibly to the individual’s presenting difficulties, lifestyle and their treatment preference. I work with both mental health difficulties (such as depression, trauma, anxiety) and physical health (reactions to chronic health conditions, CFS, weight management, etc). Please feel free to contact my PA, Jenny to arrange a no-obligation telephone discussion with me to discuss your options.
