About me

Qualified from Cambridge University in 1976. First Consultant post 1986 The Liver Unit, Kings College Hospital London. Specialist interest in chronic liver disease and its complications. Development of advanced interventional endoscopy service. Approached for and accepted consultant position at Charing Cross and Chelsea and Westminster Hospitals in 1990. Took up consultant post at Imperial NHS Trust as head of service in 2005.

Areas of interest

Gastroenterology; liver disease; bowel disease including inflammatory (IBD); gut motility disturbance (IBS); pancreatic and hepatobiliary medicine; endoscopic procedures both upper gut and colon; advanced therapeutic endoscopy
