About me

I am a consultant cardiologist working at The Great Western Hospital and for 5 years worked one day per week at The Oxford Heart Centre at the John Radcliffe Hospital. As well as treating emergency cardiology patients and carrying out emergency procedures, I also have regular outpatient clinics. I am clinical lead for heart failure and device therapy (pacemakers, defibrillators and cardiac resynchronisation devices). I am fully accredited by Heart Rhythm UK, the European Heart Rhythm Association, have previously been accredited by BSE (adult), and am currently level 3 accredited by European Cardiac Magnetic Resonance working party. All procedures including complications are uploaded to the national audit databases for cardiology. I work closely with my colleagues.
