Dr Boyle enjoys hill walking, classical music and cycling, but spends most of his spare time helping to look after his young children.
He is interested in peer to peer support programmes, and has helped to establish a network of support groups for parents of food allergic children, in collaboration with the Anaphylaxis Campaign.
