About me

Peter Brooks is a fully qualified plastic surgeon on the GMC specialist register and holds an NHS Consultant Position as a Plastic Surgeon in Nottingham.

He trained in the UK, Australia and New Zealand and also was awarded a Medical Research Council fellowship to complete a PhD in Scarring and Wound healing. He regularly teaches on international and national courses for doctors and is also involved in Medical School education.

In his National Health Service practice he has a large component of facial reconstructive surgery, is accredited to be a Paediatric Plastic Surgeon and has a general adult and paediatric service.

He enjoys cosmetic surgery and feels he has a well developed sense of proportion. He feels it is essential to make absolutely sure that anyone thinking about an operation with him is happy with everything both before and after the surgery.
