About me
Mr Garnett studied medicine in London at St Bartholomew’s Hospital & then went on to train in urology in Bristol, Edinburgh & Oxford. He undertook specialist Laparoscopic training in Germany. He has also trained in kidney transplant surgery.
He has published research on bladder disorders, prostate cancer, and kidney disease. His clinical interests include prostate disease, erectile dysfunction, bladder problems and surgery for kidney diseases. He has been working as a Consultant Urological Surgeon in the East Sussex Hospitals Trust since December 2008, and is Head of the Dept of Urology there. He specialises in Robotic Surgery & general urology. He performs robotic urological surgery of the kidney & prostate. He performed the first robotic prostatectomy in Sussex in 2015 & helped bring the UroLift procedure to Eastbourne. See www.sussexprostatecentre.co.uk
Mr Garnett was brought up in Kent and now lives in East Sussex with his wife & 2 children. He enjoys rugby, cricket & walking.
