About me

I was educated at Magdalene College, Cambridge and University College Hospital, London (UCH). My postgraduate education and experience were at UCH, Guy's Hospital, London and Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston USA and Harvard Medical School. On appointment as Consultant at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge in 1985 I founded the Metabolic Bone Unit and Bone Density Unit from scratch and this has been my special interest and expertise for over 30 years.
