About me

Previously Senior Consultant Dermatologist, Buckinghamshire Hospitals NHS Trust. Co-founder and past President of British Contact Dermatitis Group and European Environmental Contact Dermatitis Research Group. Co-author of 2 books and many Chapters in previous editions of the Textbook of Dermatology. Author/co-author of approximately 150 dermatology case reports and scientific publications. My main research interests were clinical dermatology, irritant and allergic contact dermatitis inc. subjective sensory irritation and research on hair growth.

Areas of interest

• General dermatology including the diagnosis and treatment of common and rarer skin conditions in adults and children such as acne, psoriasis, eczema/dermatitis, skin rashes, urticaria/allergy/contact dermatitis, bacterial, fungal and viral infections and disorders of hair, nail and pigmentation; assessment of skin tumours/cancers; medical dermatology including auto-immune disorders, vasculitis and leg ulcers.
