About me

At the Lister Hospital, Chelsea OP Centre, and LOC in Sydney Street, we run a one-stop clinic for benign and malignant skin lesions. With patient consent, the consultation and excision biopsy takes place at the one visit which, from experience, patients prefer. When the histology is available, a detailed explanation is provided to the patient. All results are carefully audited and, when indicated, are discussed at the Lister Hospital Multi-Disciplinary Skin Meeting.

For 30 years, before leaving the Royal Marsden Hospital, I was Senior Surgeon on the Skin Cancer Unit. I have extensive experience in the management of all skin cancers.

Areas of interest

Malignant melanoma; Basal Cell Carcinoma; Squamous Cell Carcinoma and all other rare skin cancers. Benign tumours of skin e.g. sebaceous cysts and lipomas.
