About me
Thank you for visiting my page.
I provide assessments of possible Autism Spectrum Disorder for adults (also known as Asperger's) and have over 10 years' experience of offering Autism assessment in the NHS and independent practice.
Assessments take place at my clinic in Bristol or online for people living anywhere in the UK.
I carry out assessments using recognised assessment tools including the ADOS-2, in line with NICE best practice guidance.
I have found that often people seeking an assessment have felt misunderstood, not believed or sidelined at times during their lives. Therefore I can reassure you that I will believe what you tell me.
Many people who are Autistic have also experienced difficult life events such as bullying and trauma, or have been sometimes (mis) diagnosed with other mental health conditions, which we can take into consideration.
An assessment can help to understand yourself from a neurodiverse perspective and identify strengths.
