About me

Huw Thomas graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge and The London Hospital. He trained in gastroenterology and general medicine at The London, The Royal Free, St Mary’s and St Mark’s Hospitals in London. He undertook a PhD in the molecular genetics of colorectal cancer at The Imperial Cancer Research Fund.

He is a Consultant Gastroenterologist at St Mary’s Hospital London and Professor of Gastrointestinal Genetics at Imperial College London and St Mark’s Hospital.

He is Head of HM’s Medical Household and Physician to The Queen.

Areas of interest
