About me
Mr Tassone trained as a junior doctor at The Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital, London including the Professorial Unit. He was a Specialist Registrar in Eastern Deanery (2004-2009) having trained at a number of units in the region including the Norfolk&Norwich and Addenbrookes University Teaching Hospitals.
He completed his sub-specialist training as a Head and Neck Fellow (2010-2011) in Melbourne, Australia at the Western Hospital and Petermac Cancer Institute (Australia’s only public cancer hospital) gaining wide exposure in the management and surgery of many complex head and neck cancers.
He has received a few awards over the years including a "CARES" award in 2011 from the Western Hospital in Melbourne.
He also received a "Silver" Award in 2019 from the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital in the category of Teacher of the Year. He has written various book chapters and is co-author of "Bullet Points in ENT" for Specialist Registrars first published in 2014.
